With the principles of our team having over 300 years of combined experience.Our mission is to provide our customers quality service, from quality people, with dedication, knowledge, and safety.Gerelco Traffic Controls - we are specialty contractors that provide installation services for highway lighting, signage, traffic signal intersections, and complete (ITS) Intelligent Traffic Systems. We have a drill shaft crew able to create the foundations and install any sign from a single sign post to a large cantilever structure.Job Site is in West Palm BeachEssential FunctionsCleanup of construction site as needed, by removing and properly disposing of construction debris, rubble, waste materials and other site hazardsMoving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up.Add and/or remove fill on jobsiteSet braces to support trenches or excavation areasAssist in bending conduit and pulling wireUnload trucks, receive deliveries and transfer materials throughout jobsiteMaintain a safe, clean and secure job site by handling and storing materials and tools properly when not in useOperate equipment on the job siteWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to work overhead, climb ladders, operate hand and power tools. Some work may be at heights up to and exceeding 90 feet and may be in confined spaces.
