Employment
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Fond du Lac, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st or 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot breakdowns and diagnose causes of mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical system problems on production equipment and execute most feasible method of repair
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems
Operate trucks, overhead cranes, and aerial platforms
Use computerized work order system and any training required to learn the system
Requirements
Good mechanical ability and manual dexterity
Able to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints
Familiar with Programmable Logic Controllers
Familiar with Industrial HVAC Systems
Familiar with automated assembly lines and systems related to them
Proficient in diagnosing mechanical problems, dismantling mechanical equipment, securing correct parts, repairing and reassembling mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, and gearboxes
Ability to weld preferred but not required
