Skilled Metal FabricatorA manufacturing company has opportunities available for Skilled Metal Fabricators to join their team. This is a second shift position working from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.Job ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC press brakes to form metal parts to specification and CNC laser cutting equipment, including loading programs, verifying materials, monitoring cut quality, and making adjustments as neededRead and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructionsSelect appropriate tooling, calculate bend allowances, and verify first-article accuracyPerform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring toolsTroubleshoot setup, tooling, or quality issues, and make adjustments as neededSafely load and unload materials using proper lifting techniques or material-handling equipmentMaintain production efficiency while meeting quality and delivery requirementsFollow all safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaCollaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet production goalsAssist with training or mentoring entry-level operators, as neededRun other shop equipment as needed to support operations
