Mig WelderWage: Day $22.00/hour, Night $25.00/hourShift: Days or NightsHours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AMQPS Employment Group is hiring welders for a manufacturing client in Janesville, WI. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with the potential for direct hire after 90 days based on performance and attendance.Mig Welder Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Perform Mig welding on various metals and materialsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbolsSet up and operate welding equipmentPrepare materials through cleaning, grinding, and positioning componentsInspect welds and perform repairs as neededFollow all safety procedures and wear required PPEMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork collaboratively with production and leadership teams to meet production goalsMig Welder Requirements:- High school diploma or GED preferred- Welding certification or trade school training is a plus- 2+ years of welding experience preferred- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures- Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, fumes, and other industrial conditions- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
