Job description
Make a genuine difference in students' lives as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity, located near Chicago Heights, offers you the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and therapists while supporting students' communication development and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
Active Illinois SLP license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred-Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility preferred
Experience in a school setting or strong commitment to working with children
Role Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students based on IEP objectives
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility and needs
Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and district standards
