Job description
Make a meaningful impact on young learners aged 5 to 12 by delivering high-quality speech-language therapy in a K-6 setting. This full-time, contract opportunity welcomes both skilled Speech-Language Pathologists as well as Clinical Fellows eager to grow professionally. With a straightforward Monday through Friday schedule (8:15am-3:30pm), you'll work a total of 36.25 hours weekly, managing a caseload of 25-30 students and collaborating with supportive colleagues in an engaging school environment.
Essential qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
Prior experience working with school-aged children (K-6) is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Team-oriented, flexible, and dedicated to student success
Key responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student growth
Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
