Press Brake OperatorWage: $22.00-$29.00+/hour + $1.50/hour 2nd-shift premiumShift: 2ndHours: 3:30pm-2:00am Monday-ThursdayWe are seeking Press Brake Operators to join a manufacturing team in Racine, WI. We are open to both experienced Press Brake Operators who can independently set up and operate equipment for complex parts, as well as mechanically inclined candidates with basic blueprint reading skills who are interested in being trained.Press Brake Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Set up and operate press brake equipmentProduce complex fabricated metal parts according to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsPerform machine setups, adjustments, and changeoversSelect appropriate tooling and make necessary machine adjustmentsInspect finished parts to ensure they meet specificationsUse measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerancesTroubleshoot setup and production issuesMaintain quality and productivity standardsPress Brake Operator Requirements:- Previous press brake setup and operating experience- Excellent blueprint reading skills- Ability to independently set up and run complex parts- Strong understanding of measurements and tolerances- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail- Manufacturing, machine operating, fabrication, or similar hands-on experience preferred- Good math and measurement skills- Ability and willingness to learn press brake setup and operation- Dependable work history and good job tenure- Strong attendance and reliabilityQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
