If you want to be part of a team that will learn and grow, develop leadership skills, drive results quickly, work within a safety-first mindset, and expand your technical capabilities, then GMI is a great place to start!Our Products: Pizza CrustWhat We Have to Offer$21.32/hour starting payAdditional $1.00 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shiftAdditional $2.00 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift10 days (120 hours) vacation annually11 paid company holidays401(k) with company matchHealth Insurance includes medical, dental, vision, and lifeGreat paid time off benefits and much more!Your Work Schedule and Shift Information8-hour shifts3rd shift: 9:45am to 6:00am or 10:16pm – 6:30amSaturday and Sunday are part of the required work schedule with 1 to 2 days off during the weekPlant operation is 24 hours a day 6 days a week.Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.Key AccountabilitiesCreating high quality foods that are eaten EVERYDAY, NATIONWIDEUsing TECHNOLOGY in an industry-leading facilityWorking with HIGH-LEVEL operators on EXPERIENCED teams that are looking to pass down their knowledge to workers WILLING TO LEARN and get paid doing itCHALLENGING yourself to get the JOB DONE RIGHT and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunityProduction OperationsPerform production duties across mixing, packing, freezer operations, and minor ingredients areas as assigned.In mixing operations, accurately measure and blend ingredients, coordinate LPN activities, and prepare mixing areas for production.In packing operations, oversee LPN workflow, set up packing lines, support production flow, and maintain an organized pack-off area.In freezer operations, direct LPN activities, place frozen product into cases or totes, and work safely in sub-zero temperature environments.In minor ingredients operations, prepare, organize, and manage minor ingredients, including receiving and unloading raw materials.Equipment ManagementTroubleshoot equipment and process issues and escalate concerns to the Line Lead as needed.Calibrate processing and packaging systems daily to support accurate and efficient operations.Participate in equipment startups, changeovers, and shutdown activities.Clean, inspect, and operate equipment in accordance with SSOPs and established procedures.Maintain control and accountability for equipment, tools, and work area resources.Minimum QualificationsMinimum of a high school diploma or GEDProficient in EnglishPreferred QualificationsPrevious industrial and/or food manufacturing sanitation experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing/production environment preferredExperienced working with chemicalsEligibilityApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)General Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
