Trublue Home Service AllyAre you mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools, and interested in learning a skilled trade? TruBlue Home Service Ally is looking for a motivated individual who wants to build a career in residential construction, carpentry, remodeling, and home repair. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already knows their way around basic hand and power tools but wants the opportunity to learn from an experienced professional in the field. We are looking for someone who shows up, works hard, listens, asks questions, takes pride in their work, and genuinely wants to learn. You will work directly alongside our Field Operations Manager, who has extensive experience across residential construction, finish carpentry, trim work, bathroom remodeling, repairs, installations, and general home improvement. The right person will have the opportunity to develop real, hands on skills while working on actual customer projects.What You Will Learn and Work On You may assist with and eventually perform work including:Finish carpentry and trim installationDoor and window repairs and installationBathroom remodelingFlooring and baseboardsDrywall repairsCabinet and shelvingDeck and exterior repairsGrab bars, railings, and senior safety modificationsFixture and hardware installationPunch list repairsGeneral home maintenance and handyman projectsBasic remodeling and residential constructionOur goal is not to keep you carrying materials forever. If you have the ability and the work ethic, we want to teach you how to complete projects yourself and grow into a skilled technician.What We Are Looking For You should already be comfortable with basic tools and understand how to safely use common hand and power tools. We are looking for someone who:Wants to learn a skilled trade and build a long term careerHas basic experience using drills, saws, levels, measuring tools, and common hand toolsCan accurately read a tape measureIs dependable and shows up when scheduledTakes direction wellPays attention to detailsIs comfortable working inside customers' homesCommunicates respectfully with customers and coworkersKeeps the jobsite clean and organizedIs willing to learn new skills and accept coachingCan safely lift and carry construction materialsHas reliable transportation and a valid driver's licensePrevious construction experience is helpful, but it is not required. Attitude, mechanical ability, dependability, and willingness to learn matter more to us than having years of experience.This position is ideal for someone who likes working with their hands and wants more than just a job. Maybe you have worked on projects with family, taken construction or shop classes, worked maintenance, helped with remodeling projects, or simply discovered that you are good at fixing things.
