The company values craftsmanship, teamwork, and innovation while providing employees with opportunities to develop their skills in a safe, supportive, and growing manufacturing environment.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Skilled Upholsterer Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.86 to $ 21.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:30pm)Upholster task chairs, sofas, and loveseats using fabric, leather, and vinyl according to design specifications.Read and follow work orders to ensure products are assembled accurately and meet quality standards.Use hand tools and power tools to complete upholstery work efficiently and safely.Meet production goals by upholstering a variety of product styles while maintaining quality expectations.Lift and move materials up to 70 pounds and follow all workplace safety procedures.Skilled Upholsterer Qualifications:Previous upholstery experience in furniture or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.Ability to read and interpret work orders and production instructions.Experience using upholstery hand tools and power tools.Ability to lift 50–70 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet production and quality standards.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
