Welders$24.00-$30.00/hour1st Shift6:00am-2:30pmQPS Employment Group is hiring Welders for a company in Kenosha, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift.Welders Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Use of MIG welding equipment, able to achieve Certification to AWS D1.1Use of various hand operated tools, drills, saws, and impact wrenchesUse of metric and standard measuring tapes and rulersGood mathematic abilitiesWork within a team environmentInterpret 2D drawings and schematicsUse basic computerized systems (Microsoft Office, E-Mail, etc.)Learn and follow standard work processFollow all publicized safety policies/procedures and other safety regulations applicable to the jobUse as instructed the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Attend and participate in all safety training, safety committee meetings, audits, and safety programs as assignedWelders Requirements:High school diploma / GED requiredVocational or trade school in the course study in mechanical or industrial fields of any kind is highly valuedExperience in manufacturing, assembly, or maintenance is a plusExperience in an ISO 9001 work environment is a plusWork on the production floor in a manufacturing plantStand on feet for approximately 90% of workdayMust be able to lift, bend, and stoopMust be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds on a regular basisQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
