Job description

We also offer paid time off, paid holidays, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition reimbursement, opportunities for advancement, and an employee referral program.This position is responsible for monitoring and operating stone processing equipment, including polishing and soft line machinery to ensure the production of high-quality finished products while adhering to safety and quality standards.Schedules are made in block and standard schedules. All shift types and schedules are listed below.Block shifts consist of alternating schedules: one week is 36 hours (Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday) with Sunday paying double time, and the next week is 48 hours (Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday), which includes eight hours of overtime.C Shift: Block Schedule 5 pm-5 am, 36 hr week and 48 hr weekD Shift Block Schedule 5 pm - 5 am, 36 hr week and 48 hr weekOur standard other shifts are listed below.2nd Shift: M-F 3 pm - 11 pm3rd Shift: Su-Thur, and M-F 11pm - 7 amEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Operate and monitor the equipment along the soft/polish line to ensure it is running properly and safety standards are adhered toComplete shift paperwork as assignedManage slab inventories using Oracle and Tableau reportingMonitor production processes to ensure quality standards are metCross train on multiple areas of the production lineKeep the Production leadership and the other support groups up to date on important information, processes, and issuesPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipmentKeep work area clean and orderly, maintaining tour readiness 24/7Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goalsInspect finished and raw products for defects and ensure compliance within established specificationsAdditional duties as assigned by managementQualifications & Skills:Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operationAbility to become certified in Lockout Tag-OutAbility to become certified in Chemical HandlingAbility to become respirator certifiedExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishBasic computer skillsPreferred QualificationsCritical thinking and troubleshooting skillsBasic math skillsMechanically inclinedIndustrial work experienceHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum Requirements:Education: High school diploma or GEDExperience: No experience requiredSystems: NoneCambria Success Factors:High attention to detailReliable and punctualDirect communicationSense of urgency in completing workCapable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivatedPhysical Requirements:Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildingsLift up to 60 lbs.Push/pull 100 lbs.Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercisesWork in an outdoor environment in all weather conditionsWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shiftBend over multiple times throughout shiftTask Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:Steel toed bootsHearing protectionCut resistant glovesSafety glassesHigh visibility vestHard hatRespirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
