Slicing Support Operator, Overnight, Fresh Kitchen - Dacula | Publix Super Markets, Inc.Slicing Support Operator, Overnight, Fresh Kitchen - DaculaDacula, GAJob DescriptionAssembling and disassembling equipmentOperating all slicing equipment in the departmentPracticing strict sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure food safe products are being manufacturedCalculating bin requirements for productionAccurately weighing, filling, and folding productsLabeling and ensuring accurate inventory of bulk productDocumenting equipment inspections and reporting unsafe conditions or damage to product, equipment or facilityAccurately completing all paperwork required by the positionAssisting operators with daily production operations including:Operating all slicing equipmentLabeling product binsProviding timely and accurate communication to other support areas concerning production needsOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldMust demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Must demonstrate safe working habitsMust be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. frequentlyMust be able to learn and perform all positionsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hoursMust have excellent attendance and punctualityMust be willing to assist other team members in other areasAbility to push racks that weigh in excess of 1200 lbs.Must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of timeMust be able to work efficiently with little or no supervisionMust understand Lockout/Tagout compliance requirementsMust be dependable and possess good follow up skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsMust possess basic math skillsMust be able to communicate effectivelyMust show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in workA commitment to Publix and our missionHours of Work8:30pm-5:30am; Rotating daysWork EnvironmentTemperatures range from 35 to 40 degrees. Wet and slippery.Frequency of PayWeeklyMinimum Base Pay$18.60Maximum Base Pay$25.65Potential Annual Base Pay$38,688 - $53,352Year End BonusTo reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.Other Compensation InformationWeekend Differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
