Job description
Slitter OperatorOperate slitting equipment to meet production orders while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.Set up and operate slitting machines according to production orders and specificationsMonitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues with tension, cut quality, and equipment functionInspect product quality, detect defects, and accurately record material usage and scrapCommunicate with team members and leadership to coordinate workflow and material needsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety proceduresHigh school diploma or equivalent required3+ years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (slitting experience preferred)Ability to read production orders, perform basic math, and accurately use a tape measureStrong attention to detail with ability to record data accuratelyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including pushing and pulling materialsMedical PlanDental PlanVision/Eyewear planIL Paid Leave Hours401kLife insurancePrescription drug reimbursementShort-term disabilityReferral bonusesEmail your resume to online and submit the application to the Crystal Lake, IL locationCall or text at Visit our office at 580 E.
