You'll be:Setting up and operating slitting equipment, adjusting controls and hanging master rollsConducting visual inspections and quality checks on materialsLabeling materials, entering quality data, and pulling required samplesIdentifying, splicing, and removing non-conforming material; placing materials on hold as neededCompleting production, quality, and shipping paperwork accuratelyPreparing slit rolls for shipment per customer and quality requirementsUsing email, intranet, and quality databases during daily tasksMaintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, reporting unsafe conditions immediatelySupporting continuous improvement initiatives and participating in training activitiesWorking overtime as needed to meet business demands
