As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help print and move finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. Previous machine operating experience is preferred but we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available!Slitter Operator Starting Rate: $20.49 ($19.15 Base + 7% Shift Differential) Hours: 6pm-6am M/T/F/S/S/W/Th; overtime as requiredLocation: 2347 Kratzer Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22801As a Slitter Operator in the bindery support area, you will:Operate and oversee the production of the machineryInspect and troubleshoot equipmentMonitor quality, throughput, and productivityProcess departmental paperworkReceive training to help advance your careerQualifications:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand or sit for the entire duration of your shiftPreference given to candidates with 1+ years of experience operating machinesAt Lakeside Book Company, we value craftsmanship and collaboration by encouraging employees to improve their skills and capabilities.
