Job description
Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school-based setting in Sumner, WA. This is a full-time position at one school site, supporting K-8th grade students through assessment and therapy services.
We're looking for an SLP who enjoys working with kids, brings positive energy and creativity to the school day, and knows how to make therapy fun and engaging!
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Washington SLP licensure or eligibility
ESA certification
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable
School-based experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
Reliable and professional
Must enjoy working with children and be comfortable building positive relationships with students
Fun, upbeat personality and good energy are a huge plus!
Creative, patient, flexible, and able to keep students engaged
Responsibilities Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to K-8th grade students
Bring positive energy and have fun! Good energy is everything with our students.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Create engaging and age-appropriate therapy activities
Build strong, trusting relationships with students
Collaborate with teachers and school staff
Maintain accurate documentation and student records
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals
Support students in reaching their academic and communication goals
Celebrate student progress and help create a positive school experience
