Job description
PRN Speech-Language Pathologist
We're hiring a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home care across the Blacksburg region. You'll be visiting adult and geriatric patients in their homes, doing the hands-on SLP work that actually makes a difference — evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in the environments where it matters most. This role is a good fit for SLPs who want clinical autonomy and real one-on-one time with patients without committing to full-time hours.
Pick up visits based on your availability — you tell us when you're free, we route patients your way
Provide speech therapy services in patients' homes
Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans, reassessments, and discharge — start to finish, your patients, your plan
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety
Coordinate with our clinical team and patients' physicians on care planning
Document in the field on a company-issued tablet through WellSky
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Virginia (or eligible)
1+ year of clinical experience
Home health and OASIS experience preferred — if you don't have it yet, our clinical team will get you trained before you take your first visit on your own
WellSky experience is a plus but not required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Based out of our Blacksburg office, we cover Blacksburg and the surrounding New River Valley — Christiansburg, Radford, Pulaski, Dublin, Pearisburg, Narrows, and the surrounding Montgomery and Giles County communities. You'll generally work the area closest to where you live.
