nThe Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnActive SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
n
nnCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
n
nnComplies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
n
