Elevate Communication and Enhance Lives in Atlanta, GA – Become a Speech Language Pathologist with Us

How would it feel to take your career to new heights while making an extraordinary impact on the lives of others? As a Speech Language Pathologist situated in the vibrant world of Atlanta, your role will transcend the conventional. More than just addressing communication and swallowing challenges, your work will allow you to uncover potential, restore confidence, and create meaningful connections — from children discovering their first expressions to older adults regaining their autonomy.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele throughout different life stages within an innovative facility that integrates outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient services. Whether your heart lies in pediatric speech development, treating adult neurogenic conditions, or aiding geriatric linguistic recovery, you will discover immense satisfaction and versatility here.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations through standardized tests and observational assessments.

Create individualized treatment plans tailored to specific communication, cognitive, and swallowing objectives.

Facilitate personalized speech therapy sessions that focus on improving communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.

Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to design cohesive and integrated care approaches.

Provide educational resources for patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions.

Support with occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout each patient's journey.

Keep meticulous and prompt documentation according to state, federal, and institutional standards.

Engage in ongoing professional development through continued education and collaboration with peers.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Required Certifications

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire.

Essential Skills

Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic methods for all age groups, with a strong grasp of developmental as well as acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Adept in adjusting therapy techniques to meet the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of patients.

Strong clinical judgment coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and understanding documentation protocols.

Employee Benefits

Competitive salary reflective of experience.

Flexible working hours promoting work-life harmony and varied caseloads.

Opportunities to specialize in fields such as pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.

Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.

Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.

Support for continuing education expenses and career advancement.

A collaborative environment that fosters teamwork and a focus on quality patient care.

Your Journey Begins Here — A Path Transformed

In this exciting role, you won't just be delivering speech therapy — you'll be woven into a community-oriented mission aimed at restoring voices, nurturing communication, and creating joy through the profound human acts of understanding and connection.

You will work alongside team members who view each other as family in a workplace that celebrates collaboration rather than competition. Each patient carries a narrative; we trust you to help shape how it gets told.

Why Atlanta Will Captivate You

In the heart of Atlanta, life thrives with the energy of a bustling metropolis while maintaining the charm of southern hospitality. The city is painted with a rich tapestry of culture, nature, and innovation. Picture yourself enjoying weekends in lush parks, visiting world-class museums, and tasting delectable cuisine in renowned restaurants or food markets.

Families relish weekends around vibrant festivals, while nature enthusiasts explore scenic trails or the serene shores of nearby lakes. The city's artistic pulse is evident in captivating murals, live music performances, and rich cultural events that unite diverse communities.

For professionals, the city offers myriad benefits — no state income tax, a reasonable cost of living, and a dynamic healthcare scene making it an ideal place for growth and development in your career.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to advance your skills, Atlanta offers a nurturing environment for both personal and professional evolution.

Your Passion Meets Purpose

We are on the lookout for a Speech Language Pathologist who is not solely focused on achieving results but is also guided by empathy. You may see a reserved child and envision their future filled with expression, or recognize a stroke survivor's struggles and sense their grit and resolve.

If you are a pediatric specialist wanting to expand into adult services or a clinician with a focus on neurotherapy wanting to include early intervention, we encourage you to apply. If you are eager to share your skills and compassionate approach, we are excited to welcome you to our family.

Let's Collaborate in Communication

If you believe that speech is more than just sounds, and that therapy extends beyond tasks — if you value building trust with your patients as much as achieving goals — this may be the transformative chapter awaiting you in your career.

Join us in a community that cherishes communication, connection, and the courage to start anew. Apply today to add your voice to our incredible team — and help others discover theirs.
