n nCOMPENSATION
nnnCompetitive contract rates commensurate with experience, paid per agreed terms.

nnEngagement contingent on a background check clearing you to work in public school settings.

n nSCOPE OF SERVICES
nnnPlan and provide individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals
n
nnEvaluate student progress and readiness for dismissal from services
n
nnConduct independent evaluations to assess eligibility for speech-language services
n
nnParticipate in IEP/ARD meetings to support appropriate placement and goal setting
n
nnCollaborate with teachers to support communication skills through classroom activities
n
nnProvide guidance to school personnel on identifying and understanding communication deficits
n
nnCommunicate therapy goals and progress with colleagues, students, and parents
n
nnSupport ongoing evaluation of speech-language services and recommend improvements
n
nnAssist in the selection of equipment and instructional materials
n
nnCompile and maintain accurate, timely reports and records meeting district and state requirements
n
n nQUALIFICATIONS
nnnMaster's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
n
nnActive Texas SLP license
n
nnValid driver's license
n
n nPRACTICAL NOTES
nnnSome travel to campus sites within your service area
n
nnLight lifting and transport of therapy and test materials
n
