nCoverage area: Bartow, Paulding, and Polk Counties
nSchedule: Full Time, Mon - Fri visits

nResponsibilities
nAs a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist , You will:
nnnCommunicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
n
nnTeach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
n
nnTeach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
n
nnEducate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
n
nnDocument appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy
n
n nQualifications
nnnMinimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
n
nnA minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
n
nnCurrent, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
n
nnCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
n
