n nPosition Overview:
nnnAs a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.
n
nnYou will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families to maximize functional outcomes and improve quality of life.

nResponsibilities
nSLP: Speech-Language Pathologist:
nnnEvaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans
n
nnProvide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services
n
nnComplete accurate and timely clinical documentation
n
nnCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
n
nnEducate residents, families, and caregivers
n
nnParticipate in care planning and discharge planning activities
n
nnEnsure compliance with all regulatory and professional practice standards
n
nnSupport positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction
n
n nQualifications
nSLP: Speech-Language Pathologist:
nnnM.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school required.
n
nnState license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
n
nnClinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association preferred.
n
nnAbility to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
n
nnCurrent, valid CPR/BLS credential.
n
nnQualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.
n
nnVerification of qualifications by the State Department of Health
n
nnRehabilitation Therapies (license number/certification number) required.
n
nnAbility to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
n

n
nnThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
