Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.

Engage in collaborative practices with medical professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to foster unified care strategies.

Educate patients and families, empowering them to continue progress outside of the clinic.

Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure seamless care along the treatment continuum.

Document care interventions in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines, maintaining precise records.

Commit to ongoing professional development and networking with peers to stay abreast of the latest innovations in the field.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Essential Certifications

Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Key Skills

Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based speech therapy techniques across age ranges, with deep knowledge of both developmental and acquired disorders related to speech, language, and swallowing.

Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate constructive communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Adept at modifying therapy approaches to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical acumen paired with decisive problem-solving capabilities.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and prevailing standards of documentation.

Benefits and Perks

Competitive pay reflective of your expertise and experience.

Flexible work schedules to promote an ideal work-life balance, along with a diverse patient caseload.

Options to delve deeper into specialties such as pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.

Generous paid time off (PTO) and recognized holiday compensation.

Robust medical, dental, vision, and life insurance packages.
