Position Summary

Full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supporting schools in McAlester, Ada, Prague, and Atoka, OK. This role is in a school setting and involves working under the supervision of a licensed SLP to implement individualized education program (IEP) goals, deliver therapy activities, collect progress data, and assist with communication devices and classroom-based supports.

Key Responsibilities

Implement therapy plans and interventions as directed by the licensed SLP.

Provide individual and group therapy to school-aged children across speech, language, voice, and fluency domains.

Monitor and document student progress and report outcomes to the supervising SLP.

Assist with communication devices and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems under supervision.

Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home routines.

Prepare materials and maintain therapy documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements Hold a valid Speech Language Pathology Assistant credential as required by Oklahoma state or meet state-specific SLPA eligibility requirements.

Experience working in a school setting preferred. Experience with caseloads of school-aged children is preferred.

Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP and follow IEP-driven treatment plans.

Experience with AAC and communication devices preferred.

Required clearances and background checks as mandated by the school district and state regulations.
