Associate Veterinarian – University Veterinary Hospital | Shreveport, LA University Veterinary Hospital is the only general and specialty practice in the entire Ark-La-Tex region — join a team practicing well beyond standard general medicine. General practice with a surgical toolkit most GPs don't get: laparoscopic spay/neuter, gastropexy, and full endoscopy (bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, rhinoscopy)
Advanced orthopedics on-site — TTA, FHO, internal/external fixation, amputation
Advanced dentistry including root canals, jaw fracture repair, and oral tumor removal, with full-mouth radiographs standard on every case
Work alongside our board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Michelle Woodward, plus in-house referral access to oncology, orthopedics, and rehab
Integrative options in your toolkit — stem cell therapy, acupuncture, cold laser, ImmuneFX cancer vaccine
Fear Free Certified, Cat Friendly Practice, standard M–F hours (7am–6pm)
Ideal for a GP with interest in general surgery and/or dentistry — mentorship and support built in as you grow
Compensation & Benefits
$125,000–$150,000 base + production and sign-on bonus, DOE
