Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care within a supportive, relationship-focused environment. The position is designed for a veterinarian who values having adequate time with each patient, allowing for thorough examinations, thoughtful treatment planning and meaningful communication with pet owners.
The role offers access to in-house laboratory services, surgical and dental capabilities and a broad range of preventative and medical cases. Experienced veterinary technicians and support colleagues help keep the working day organised, while continued learning and evidence-based medicine are strongly encouraged.
Qualifications Needed:
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary institution
Current Maryland veterinary licence
Ability to obtain appropriate state and federal controlled-substance credentials
Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality small animal medicine
