We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of small engines used in equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, and generators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose mechanical issues using tools and equipment.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on small engines.
* Replace or repair faulty parts and systems.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Maintain accurate records of services performed.
* Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs to clients.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in small engine repair preferred.
* Proven experience as a small engine mechanic.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
* Comfortable working in various outdoor conditions.
