Small Press Setup OperatorReady to elevate your manufacturing career with a high-paying, skilled role? We are actively seeking a detail-oriented small-press setup operator to join a production team in Saint Paul. Location: Saint Paul, MN Wage: $28.00 - $36.00/hr. (Depending on experience) Hours: 1st shift 6 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Thursday, 6 am - 12 pm Friday Benefits of the small press setup operator:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife, disability, accident, and critical illness insuranceLeadership and mentorship opportunitiesStable, long-term career growth in metal fabricationWeekly payDuties of the small press setup operator:Safely set up and operate C-frame punch presses to manufacture high-quality partsRead and interpret technical blueprints, job routings, and work instructions accuratelySet up specialized tooling, installing dies, and staging production materialsUse calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify part specifications and maintain qualityDiagnose basic press or tooling issues, coordinate necessary repairs, and assist with process improvementsCorrectly identify, label, and log production data, materials, and completed work instructionsPerform routine equipment maintenance to keep machinery running smoothlyMaintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to all safety protocols.Partner with team members to consistently meet quality standards and production deadlinesRequirements of the small press setup operator:1+ years of manufacturing, metal fabrication, or related experienceProven experience operating punch presses; specific experience setting dies is highly desirableStrong ability to read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints and technical drawingsHands-on experience performing quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and tape measuresContact Information: To learn more about this small press setup operator position, please contact Catherine at .
