SME- Data Scientist
Prescient Edge is seeking a SME- Data Scientist to support a Federal Government client.
Please note that the availability of this position is contingent upon contract award.

Description
Demonstrated mastery and employment of geographic and geospatial scientific principles, tools, and analytical techniques, to be reflected throughout most of the relevant prior experience.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with data science techniques including (but not limited to) logistic regression, vector, natural language processing, principal component analysis, clustering techniques, neural networks, deep learning models, image recognition and algorithm employment or development in support of any of the foregoing.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with tabular analysis, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, Julia, etc.) to deliver unique insights otherwise unobtainable.
Familiarity with agile software development project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) to deliver new capability.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with tabular analysis, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, Julia, etc.) to deliver unique insights otherwise unobtainable.
Desired Experiences
Experience working with IT, business, or operational metrics platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, Confluence, etc.)
Certification in AWS (AI/ML specialty).
Knowledge of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) production chain.
Experience working within a DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) operational environment and with DoD/IC geospatial data repositories.
Familiarity with Army, DoD or IC GEOINT or geospatial processes, policy and programs.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools deliver reports, graphics and briefings.
Education
MA or MS from an accredited institution of higher learning in a STEM-related discipline AND 5 years of relevant experience;
BA/BS degree in a STEM-related discipline AND 10 years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance
Active TS/SCI and with the ability to obtain a CI poly if needed.
Location
Fort Gordon, GA.
