Job description
Snow Equipment Operator/Salt Truck OperatorWe are seeking reliable and experienced Snow Equipment Operators to join our winter operations team. As a Snow Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for clearing snow from our commercial client locations including entry roads, parking lots, and other designated areas to ensure safe access for vehicles and pedestrians during winter weather events.Key Responsibilities:Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, skid steer, dump trucks and other snow removal equipment safely and efficientlyMonitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow eventsPerform pre- and post-operation inspections of vehicles and equipmentApply salt or de-icing materials as neededMaintain accurate logs of work performed and materials usedCommunicate effectively with dispatch and team membersFollow all safety protocols and company proceduresQualifications:Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)Previous snow removal experience operating snowplow trucks or heavy equipment for large commercial and industrial propertiesAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysically fit and able to work in cold and challenging weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyReliable transportation to and from job sitesWhy Join Our Team:Competitive pay with overtime potentialSeasonal bonuses for performance and reliabilityOpportunity for full-time employment after winter seasonSupportive team environmentTraining provided for qualified candidatesCompensation: $20.00 - $40.00 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
