Social Media SpecialistThe Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating and managing content across all digital platforms, fostering community engagement, and monitoring performance. This position is essential in bringing brand strategy to life through consistent and compelling voice, ensuring alignment across all digital channels. Success in this position requires exception attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for emerging trends and industry innovations.Responsibilities:Develop, capture, and create high-quality content and copy that is brand-aligned and platform-specific.Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager to assist with planning and maintaining the Social Media content calendar and live coverage calendarAssist with scheduling content and posting live coverage to all ACC's social media channels. Including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and SnapchatAttend events, entertainment, activations, promotions, and marketing initiatives as assigned to support content capture and live coverageEnsure all published content complies with usage rights and copyright laws and/or obtain the necessary permissions for useEnsure all published content is accurate, aligns with brand and campaign guidelines, and complies with ACBCI marketing and regulatory standardsSupport with additional tasks and responsibilities as assignedAssist as needed with influencer program through research and on property liaisonMonitor, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to assess performance and optimize future campaigns.Maintain advanced knowledge and best practices of emerging and current Social Media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and SnapchatProvide direct engagement and response management to comments across all platforms and maintain a positive communityEducation and/or Experience:Associate's degree (AA), or equivalent work experience2+ years of professional experience working in social media for a brand or agencyAdvanced understanding of all major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn) and supporting tools (Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Canva, etc.)Solid understanding of visual storytelling, design principles, and brand consistency.Advanced knowledge using both mobile and professional camera equipment.Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organizedStrong communicator and collaboratorAble to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesPassionate about social media trends and creating engaging, results-driven contentWillingness to travel for content production and live coverage as neededWorking Conditions/Physical Demands:To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1½ miles, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/workstation for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. of equipment and materials on an intermittent basis.The individual must also be comfortable working in a smoke-filled environment and able to respond to the demands of a dynamic casino setting. Work is performed in both office and on-property locations with moderate to high noise levels depending on proximity to gaming areas. Dexterity of hands and fingers is required for use of computers, cameras, and general office equipment.
