Position Overview
Seeking independently licensed behavioral health professionals to provide counseling and mental health services within a correctional setting. Candidates must be comfortable with crisis intervention, conducting assessments, establishing diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.
Accepted Credentials:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Active Wisconsin LCSW license required
Independently licensed
On-site, full-time preferred
Counseling-focused experience required
Able to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans
Comfortable with crisis intervention
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Active Wisconsin Independent LPC license required
Master's level counselor
On-site, full-time
Comfortable with crisis intervention
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program (LCSW candidates)
Active Wisconsin licensure (LPC or LCSW)
BLS
Minimum 1 year of social work or behavioral health experience preferred
Responsibilities
Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations
Establish diagnoses and develop treatment plans
Provide individual counseling services
Perform crisis assessments and interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Compensation:
LPC - Travel
Hourly Rate: $28.00/hr
Meals Stipend: $476/week
Housing Stipend: $770/week
Estimated Weekly Package: $2,366/week
LPC - Local
Hourly Rate: $53.00/hr
Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,120/week
LCSW - Travel
Hourly Rate: $34.00/hr
Meals Stipend: $476/week
Housing Stipend: $770/week

Hourly Rate: $59.00/hr

Ideal Candidate
Strong counseling background
Experience with behavioral health and crisis intervention
Comfortable working within a correctional environment
Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions
