Wings Over Virginia Hospice is looking for Social Work Student Volunteers!
Hospice volunteering provides an opportunity to:
Build meaningful connections with patients and families
Gain experience working with individuals facing serious illness, loss, and grief
Learn more about hospice and interdisciplinary care
Develop communication, advocacy, and supportive listening skills
Support patients through companionship and meaningful visits
Gain valuable experience that can complement your social work education
You don't need to have all the answers—you just need to be willing to listen, connect, and be present.
