Job description

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
Current and valid social work licensure appropriate for school-based practice
Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
Compassionate communicator with students, staff, and families
Ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate, confidential documentation
Skilled in crisis intervention, counseling, and resource coordination
Familiarity with special education procedures and developing student support plans is a plus
Responsibilities: Provide direct support and counseling to students dealing with personal, social, or academic challenges
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals to develop intervention strategies
Conduct assessments and develop plans to address the unique needs of each student
Act as a liaison between school, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans when necessary
Educate staff and families on social-emotional strategies and promote a positive school climate
Maintain thorough records in compliance with all confidentiality and regulatory standards
