Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in social work from an accredited program
Current, valid state licensure as a school social worker
Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to create a positive, inclusive environment for diverse populations
Responsibilities & Duties: Provide direct counseling and support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design effective intervention plans
Act as a liaison, connecting families to community resources and services
Lead, participate in, or contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as needed
Maintain thorough documentation and case notes in compliance with school and legal guidelines
Deliver crisis intervention and conflict mediation when necessary
