Job description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a skilled Social Worker supporting multiple K-12 schools near Fountain, CO. This full-time, onsite contract position runs through the school year and offers the opportunity to serve a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students across two buildings. Your expertise and compassionate approach will be vital in shaping educational journeys and promoting student well-being.
Key Qualifications:
Must hold a valid CDE license or be eligible and prepared to apply for one
Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
Background supporting K-12 students with a wide range of abilities and needs
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt interventions to engage students individually, respecting diversity and fostering growth
Role Responsibilities: Develop and implement services tailored to students' individual needs and academic goals
Engage and support students by adapting strategies to foster critical-thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills
Regularly collaborate with educational staff to ensure consistent support for students
Maintain student supervision at all times, consistently ensuring safety and compliance with policy
Uphold school guidelines and policies related to the health, welfare, and educational progress of all students
Provide regular updates and documentation on progress towards goals and student outcomes
