Job description
Social Worker – Full Time (Children's Services)
We are seeking a Full-Time Social Worker to support children and families in an educational setting. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who enjoys collaboration and making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in intakes, evaluations, and annual IFSP/IEP reviews
Support children and families with social, emotional, and clinical needs
Assist families in accessing community resources and services
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including educators and clinicians
Maintain accurate documentation and case notes
Conduct home visits and participate in team meetings as needed
Support student transitions and ongoing family communication
Qualifications
LMSW license in New York State (required)
NYS DOE School Social Worker Certification (required)
Bilingual Spanish Or Mandarin (required)
Experience working with children and families preferred
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
