Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active and valid state licensure as a School Social Worker
Master's degree in Social Work or a related field required
Previous experience working within an educational setting strongly preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work with diverse student populations and their families
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing school social work
Key Responsibilities: Assess student challenges, strengths, and resources to develop tailored intervention plans
Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling for students
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
Conduct risk assessments and crisis response as needed
Advocate for students' needs and refer families to community resources
Maintain thorough documentation and report as required by state and district policies
