Job description

Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Valid state license or certification to work as a School Social Worker
Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Organizational skills and adaptability within dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct counseling and support to students dealing with personal, social, or academic challenges
Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies for student success
Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual needs
Facilitate group or classroom sessions on relevant social-emotional topics
Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing guidance and support as needed
Advocate for students to connect them with community resources and additional services
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold ethical standards

Compensation for this position ranges from $34.55 to $54.55. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here . This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
