Ideal Background and Experience:
Active Social Worker license (LSW, LCSW, or equivalent accepted in Illinois)
Prior experience working within school settings is strongly preferred
Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, counselors, and families
Strong knowledge of available community resources
Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Dedication to diversity, inclusion, and equitable outcomes for all students
Proficient at supporting students facing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges
Key Responsibilities: Conduct student assessments and create individualized intervention plans
Provide direct social-emotional support and crisis intervention as needed
Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to inform strategies for student success
Engage families and caregivers to strengthen support networks
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insight to multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate records and adhere to all confidentiality guidelines
