G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is on the lookout for an energetic, innovative, and driven software developer to join our cutting‑edge team.
About the Role
As a software developer at G2, you’ll dive into exciting projects, harnessing your skills to solve complex challenges and support national defense. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are at the forefront.
Responsibilities
Perform software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large‑scale software systems.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in Agile Software Engineering Processes and Life Cycle.
Experience working within automated development/build environments leveraging tools such as Git/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, using effective communication and writing skills.
This position requires that the candidate be a U.S. citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a DoD clearance.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with software development for relational databases such as H2 DB.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at the assigned client facilities.
Location
This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in San Diego, CA. Travel is Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position in California is $120,000/year to $150,000/year, depending on expertise and market conditions. G2 offers a competitive benefits package, including medical coverage, a 401(k) plan, an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), tuition reimbursement, and more.
