Job description
Position: Software Engineer
Duration: Direct-Hire
Salary: $120-140K/year commensurate with experience
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Work Location: Glenwood, IL
This position is onsite 5 days per week for the first 3 months. Remote flexibility up to 2 days per week after 3 months.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using .NET technologies.
Build and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data integrations.
Troubleshoot application performance, reliability, and latency issues across distributed systems.
Develop integrations between enterprise applications, third-party platforms, and cloud services.
Support software deployment, release management, and CI/CD processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable business solutions.
Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience developing applications using C# and/or VB.NET.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, views, query optimization, and data integration solutions.
Experience with Entity Framework and enterprise application development.
Hands-on experience with source control, automated deployments, and build management tools.
Experience designing, deploying, and supporting applications in AWS environments.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Experience working within Agile teams using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating software with external systems, devices, or real-time data sources.
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and scalable application design.
Experience supporting mission-critical operational environments.
Candidates with PLC/manufacturing integration backgrounds
