Summary

As a Software Engineer on the Optimize Platform Team, you will play a key role in developing web and mobile applications that drive significant energy savings. Your work will directly impact thousands of buildings by building features, refactoring legacy code, and expanding the platform’s capabilities in a collaborative environment with high ownership and growth potential.
Pay
$105,000 - $115,000 annually
Location
Hybrid in Dallas, TX
Requirements
1-4 years of professional experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and full-stack development
Working knowledge of backend concepts, API design, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Familiarity with cloud deployment, preferably AWS, and version control practices
Strong problem‑solving skills with an analytical mindset
Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
Genuine interest in energy efficiency and conservation technologies
Responsibilities
Build and deploy features for the energy optimization platform using React, React Native, Node.js, and related technologies
Develop tools for internal teams and external clients, including dashboards and field adjustment applications
Convert legacy JavaScript applications to React Native mobile apps
Participate in full-stack development, including working with PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and AWS deployment pipelines
Collaborate in a small, highly collaborative team that owns every aspect of the application, including new development, refactoring, and adding features
