Software Engineer Level 2
Cache County, Utah
6-month contract-to-hire
$48 to $63 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $100K to $130K annually
Summary
Mid-level software engineer responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting web applications. Works collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable software solutions. 70% to 80% backend duties.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, debug, and maintain C#/.NET applications.
Translate business requirements into software solutions.
Develop and support APIs and web services.
Build and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and functions.
Troubleshoot application and production issues.
Participate throughout the software development lifecycle.
Write clean, maintainable code and documentation.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects and assigned work.
Requirements 4–5 years of professional C#/.NET development experience.
Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, LINQ, and Web API.
4–5 years of SQL Server or equivalent SQL experience.
Strong stored procedure and database experience.
Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, and responsive web development.
Experience developing APIs with REST and/or GraphQL.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Bonus Skills React, Angular, or Vue.
Agile/Scrum experience.
Cloud application development.
Database performance optimization.
Automated testing or CI/CD experience.
