Software Engineer Sr – PNC Technology, Farmers Branch, TX.

Role involves designing and developing software solutions, focusing on high-quality code, testing, and deployment.
Technical Experience
Advanced Java expertise; core Java;
Spring Boot microservices, JUnit, mocking frameworks;
RESTful API design and implementation;
Source control using Git.
Identity, Security & APIs
Authentication and authorization services;
OAuth 2.0 and JWT security models;
API management platforms (Apigee);
Modern security best practices.
Observability & Monitoring (Key Addition)
Improving application observability in enterprise environments;
Hands‑on experience with Dynatrace for APM, performance analysis, and root‑cause investigation;
Experience with Elastic Search / Elastic Stack for centralized logging, querying, and correlation;
Understanding of distributed systems monitoring, metrics, and tracing.
DevOps & Delivery
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent);
Enterprise DevOps best practices;
Supporting deployments and diagnostics across multiple environments.
Leadership
Experience leading and influencing engineers without direct authority;
Proven ability to resolve complex production, performance, and reliability issues.
Job Description
Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms;
Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs;
Write code, test, and deploy software;
Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software;
Maintain and debug software.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role. A degree, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience (including military service) is preferred.
