We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering team's delivery, growth, and operational performance. In this role, you will drive project execution using data from Azure DevOps, support recruiting and team-building efforts, and help manage our internal helpdesk and on-call rotation — all while partnering closely with Product Management to ensure our work translates into measurable business outcomes.

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead delivery, grow the team, and drive operational excellence. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, support recruiting and hiring, and use data from Azure DevOps to track team progress and performance. The team primarily works on Dynamics 365 development, supplementary applications supporting commerce, and data/reporting initiatives. You will also help manage the internal helpdesk and on-call rotation while upholding SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the engineering team to deliver projects on schedule, manage timelines, remove blockers, and ensure high-quality execution
Support recruiting efforts, source candidates, conduct interviews, and help fill open engineering roles
Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Azure DevOps; share burndown charts, velocity, and team progress metrics with leadership
Partner with Product Managers to define and track product success metrics and demonstrate how engineering work improves outcomes
Manage the internal helpdesk and on-call rotation, ensuring timely responses across severity levels and consistent SLA adherence
Report operational metrics (response times, resolution rates, SLA compliance) and drive continuous improvement
Mentor engineers and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and delivery
Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering execution with business priorities
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Requirements
3+ years of engineering management or technical leadership
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time
Experience supporting hiring, interviewing, and building engineering teams
Proficiency with Jira and/or Azure DevOps for creating dashboards, reports, and burndown charts
Experience managing on-call rotations, helpdesk/support processes, and SLA tracking
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with Product Management
Nice to Have
Prior hands-on software engineering experience
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 development, supply chain experience, or data-heavy and reporting-focused applications
