Inspection TechnicianThe Inspection Technician has the most important responsibility of ensuring all systems are ready to pass inspections; this includes walking City/County officials through a recently installed and ready-to-go solar system, and fixing any issues that may arise during the inspections!Here at Better Earth, the Inspection Technicians are the anchor of a successful install. So why not be a part of the team that helps us become the fastest team in the nation?This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is interested in entering the Solar Industry, has some electrical background, and is ready to give it their all!Responsibilities:Communicate with inspectors to ensure efficient installationCommunicate with coordinators/managersSolve any issues that may arise regarding code and installs (this requires electrical knowledge on how to fix said issues)Set up and tie off ladders for the city/county inspectorsHelp county/city inspectors with accessibility problemsCoordinate and perform pre-inspection and on-site problem solving to ensure compliance with policyQualifications:Some electrical backgroundStrong communication skills with multiple parties utilizing technologyStrong analytical, creative, problem solving, and interpersonal/human relations skillsComfortable being and working on roofsWork well with others that are on your work teamMust have a valid state driver's licenseMust have a clean driving recordComfort with using technology (computer, phone, email, etc.)Requirements:Must be 21 years of age or olderMust have a clean and valid driving recordMust be comfortable working on roofsMUST have some electrical backgroundFull Benefits PackageHealth InsuranceDentalVisionFull Time $22 - $25/hr depending on experience (FULL TIME HOURS)Hourly - Nonexempt
