Solar Panel Rework TechnicianPay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour Now hiring for a Solar Panel Rework Technician Location: New Iberia, LA Schedule: Monday through Saturday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Put in the Work, Reap the Rewards: Solar Panel Rework Technicians Wanted. Seeking dependable employees for a Solar Panel Rework project in New Iberia, LA. Employees will perform hands-on rework on solar panel assemblies, including removing and reinstalling designated components, inspecting materials, and using hand and power tools to make required corrections. This position requires attention to detail, safe tool use, and the ability to perform repetitive physical work in a production/rework environment. This opportunity is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Perform rework and repair activities on solar panel/module assemblies that do not meet required specifications. Remove designated panel rails and/or components from solar panel assemblies as instructed. Use hand and power tools to carefully disassemble, adjust, repair, and reassemble components. Inspect panels and components for visible defects, damage, improper fit, or other quality concerns. Follow established rework procedures and supervisor instructions to correct identified issues. Handle solar panels carefully to prevent damage during the rework process. Measure, align, position, and secure components as required. Use appropriate hand tools and power tools, which may include drills, drivers, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and similar tools. Move and position panels and materials within the designated work area. Perform repetitive production/rework tasks while maintaining quality standards. Keep tools, materials, and work areas organized and free of hazards. Wear all required PPE and follow First Solar and Staffmark safety procedures. Immediately report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or quality concerns to the supervisor. Complete documented job-specific training before independently performing assigned rework tasks.Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified. Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position. High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience Requirements Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance. Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required. Previous experience using basic hand and power tools. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and supervisor demonstrations. Ability to accurately perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality. Ability to safely handle solar panels and related components. Ability to work effectively as part of a production/rework team. Ability to follow all PPE and jobsite safety requirements. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to complete required job-specific training.Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred. Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment. Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Solar Panel Rework Technician.Physical Capabilities Physical requirements vary by assignment and will be discussed during the hiring process. Candidates should be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and use hands and arms to perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to grip and operate hand and power tools safely. Must be able to lift, carry, position, and assist with handling solar panel components and materials. Work may be performed in an active industrial/project environment with exposure to noise, heat, outdoor conditions, and other typical jobsite conditions.
