Overview
nOur Towson, Maryland (MD) office is looking for a Civil Operator or Designer with 8+ years of experience to join our Renewable Energy/Solar team!
nResponsibilities
nnnImplement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards
n
nnDeveloptechnical drawings and plans
n
nnThe person in this position will make and quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity and may perform some multifaceted calculations
n
nnRequires minimal supervision to perform day to day tasks
n
nnHas knowledge of engineering principles and suggests design changes
n
nnMaintains drawing database
n
nnWill supervise and train CAD staff
n
nnCoordinates work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control
n
nnDevelop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards
n
n nSalary Range: $90-$110k
nQualifications
nnn8+ years of relevant experience
n
nnHigh school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
n
nnAbility to set up and manage printing/plotting settings
n
nnAdvanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products
n
nnStrong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
n
nnAbility to work independently and with a team
n
nnWillingness to mentor and teach others
n
nnDetail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
